I’m so confused.
What’s confusing? The fact that it’s someone who looks different who’s stood next to Mike and Conor? Grow up. You’re not a proper Conor fan, if you were you’d know how amazing he is, and how he loves people to be different. TBH you confuse me too.
>You’re not a proper Conor fan, if you were…
see here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/No_true_Scotsman
p.s.- there is a difference between being, as you claim, “different” and being “an attention whore”.
Reallyyyyyy? Haha I’m not an attention whore, but I sure am getting a hell of alot of attention over this photo! And I’m actually an award winning tattooist, I own my own tattoo studio, earn over £70k a year, and have my own apartment, oh… did I mention I’ve met Bright Eyes and you haven’t?
GTFO. And grow up, you’re the attention whore because you’re reblogging my photo to join in the dispute over how odd a Bright Eyes fan/how much of a prat I apparently am.
>I’M NOT AN ATTENTION WHORE, YOU ARE
I mean, grade school arguing tactics are always fun. Rubber, glue.
>look at how accomplished I am! I am so ~*amazing*~
Has nothing to do with the argument, if anything, it further shows how much of an attention seeker you are.
also, good job at ignoring the point i made.
also, lol@you telling me to grow up
also, lol@you for assuming you’re special for being one of the MANY people who have met bright eyes
Have you? No? Thought not, and if you have, I just hope you weren’t this rude to Conor.
Also, remind me to send you an award for being a cock.
Let me guess, you’re a uni kid too? Or just some other pretentious ass who thinks the world actually cares about their opinion?
I’ll send you my address in your askbox so i can add to my collection.
The world doesn’t give two shits about my opinions and nor do I. I can’t be pretentious when I’m so goddamn humble. But that doesn’t mean i can’t humble others, either. If by “uni” you mean “university” then no, I am not a uni kid. Not that that has anything to do with what we were talking about. This isn’t even about bright eyes. This is about the fact that there are people out there who need to be constantly reassured by the world that they are a special snowflake, and that makes me sick.
I don’t even get how this argument began. It’s really quite stupid. A person took a photo with some people. So what. Would people tell me I’m an attention whore if I went to a Rachmaninov symphony dressed in my gothy aesthetic clothing? If so that’s stupid. Differences can mix in society. It’s not all water and vinegar.
Basically these are 2 members from a band I’ve been waiting all my life to see, the one on the right is the mastermind that EVERYONE is obsessed about (rightly so, he’s amazing) but because i’m not the same as everyone else who is into this band/Idol/muse/icon/messiah, I’m getting abuse through people reblogging, in my asks, and people have even managed to get hold of my e-mail. I’m not exactly a pretty sight, but this is how I want to look, and how I do look. I was probably the only person at this show who had un naturally colored hair, designer wear and tattoos, i got abuse at the show off little girls who literally jumped about 4 foot in the air and legged it when i spoke back to them, abuse off the older people who went because I didn’t look like a plain Jane. I spoke to a few people at this show (fans) who weren’t ass holes, and I just wish all the other fans would take a leaf out of their book and realise we were all there because of our love of the band and Conor. I appreciate your view on the situation, and I think your blog is lovely, I’m gonna follow you. xx
So what I gathered from the argument was correct. And thank you for following. I followed back. The fact that people believe that the way we dress and what we listen to corresponds completely is absurd. I love classical music. I was raised on 80s pop and rap. I enjoy music for the quality and relativity it has to my life. Just because I dress primarily in black and my hair is not my natural color and my makeup is very strange at times does not mean that I can’t enjoy music out of my stereotype. In fact noticing the man on the right (your left in the photo) I can see he has nail polish. If I spoke for society I’d say he was gay, probably listened to a lot of alternative and I mean way alternative music. People should not be judged by their outward appearance.
Bright Eyes still sucks
No horrible comment on me? That IS strange.
Why would i post some horrible comment about someone who i don’t know, who has pretty bitchin’ hair, i might add.
Plus, the funny thing about my reblog was that after this huge argument, i said nothing in regards to it.
